Last day...they're super sad about summer, can you tell?
My little K Graduate!
Can't believe how quickly this year flew by! I'm not sure if it's due to the fact that I now have 2 kids in school, or because we were busier than ever. Either way, I am so thankful for the wonderful teachers who spent their days with my kids, helped them achieve their best and prepare them for next year. It was a fabulous year, and we are ready for for some summer fun! And there's no better way to start summer than with a surprise neighborhood party on the last day of school!

Field day is always one of the most anticipated days of the school year. It is a day spent completely outside, complete with water activities, snow cones, games and inflatables. This year, I was able to take part of the day off to spend with my kids. This rarely happens, but when it does, it's always a special one!
I had the privilege of coaching a running club at Mackenzie's school this year, along side 2 good friends. It was a great motivator to get back into running and a great way to help build self-esteem and healthy habits with young girls.
Our big race was in May downtown. I am so proud of the 3 team at Washington, but especially my group of 12 girls! Can't wait for next years season to start!

Getting pumped...notice Caleb who dressed up as a girl....he felt this was necessary in order to participate in a girls run! :)
Best Cheerleaders ever! How about all these amazing signs!?
5K Run through downtown!
Caleb participated in the Kiddie Dash with school friends!
We took an amazing trip to Gatlinburg, Tn. We hiked, we rode a mountain coaster, did mountain golf, rode coasters at Dollywood and more. BUT...if you ask my kids what their favorite thing was...it was the indoor pool. They LOVE to swim. I managed to capture this sweet video of them splashing around together!
This year we explored the Smoky Mountains in Tennessee. Mackenzie mentioned she had never seen the mountains, so what better time to check them out than over Spring break!
It was an amazing trip! After a long, cold winter, the kids loved being outside again, swimming and hiking! Gatlinburg is such a family friendly town and was the perfect place to visit over break!
Here are some highlights from our trip:
Pooltime! Of all the things my kids love about vacation, it's always the hotel swimming pool. We could do nothing else and just swim. For real!
Dollywood Amusement Park
Museum and Aquarium Fun
We couldn't pass up Hillbilly golfing when we saw the sign on the road. I mean, how fun is this?
Married to my best friend and blessed with 2 amazing children. I work fulltime, but my most important job is being a wife and mother. I created this blog to preserve our family memories. I hope my children visit this often to remember our story.
