Summer Fun, Part 2

I always get a little sad when the 4th of July hits.  It seems that from that point on, summer just flies!  Our last month of summer was action packed.  We enjoyed a week long visit with my sister and her family who were in from Connecticut.  We also have a trip coming up with the Buzzard clan!

There is no shortage of fun with 7 kid's!

 

We went out to see Great-grandma Monty during their visit.  It was the highlight of her summer for sure!  15 visitors in one day, I'm pretty sure after we all left she enjoyed a nice, long nap!

I enjoyed a trip with my college friend's.  This year, we went to my friend April's house for a long weekend.  We enjoyed lots of late nights staying up talking, laughing, and being together....and of course lot's of yummy food and sight seeing! I am so blessed to have met these girl's during my first year of college, and still call them my friends!

 

 

And, me and my hubby, celebrated our 10 year anniversary.  It is hard to believe we have been married 10 years.  Looking forward to many more decades together!

 

 

 

 

4th of July!

As is tradition, we enjoyed Dublin's 4th of July parade with friends.  It was a beautiful day and we are thankful and proud to celebrate America's freedom.

 

 

 

 

Even our sweet puppy, Charlie, showed his patriotism.

 

 

That same day, my sister and her family of 7 made it to Ohio for a week long visit.  That night we enjoyed Dublin's fireworks, before heading to the lake the  next morning.

 

 

 

 

 

 

The next morning, we headed up to the lake house. We fished, swam, rode the wave runner, and enjoyed another amazing fireworks display over the lake. 

 

Grandma and Grandpa even made glowing mason jars for the kid's.  They loved it!
