We enjoyed a family dinner at Benihana's followed by game night. It may be a world part from our kid free days, but I wouldn't change it for the world.
Happy New Year! Hope this year is full of many blessings, good health and happiness!

Christmas 2014
Each year we host Christmas eve with my family. We recently started doing our gift exchange then too since trying to do 3 Christmases is too hard. We now love it and enjoy time with both sides of our families!
Christmas morning is always magical. This year was even more special because we celebrated it with our puppy. He was fabulous!
Mid morning we head to grandma and grandpa's! It is always so fun being together and we have the kids unwrap and enjoy their new toys!

Winter Traditions
We are a family of traditions. Each year we seem to add a new tradition or two. It is my most favorite time of year, full of magic and wonderful memories!
We love looking at light displays. We went to Alum Creek for a Winter wonderland car display.
This year we heard about a place about an hour out that has over 4 million lights. It is truly breathtaking. The best part is that it's interactive. The kids favorite part was running into some school friends.
Each year, the art teacher at my school hosts a pottery night. Each year the kids make me a Christmas plate. This was Caleb first year and he loved it!
After pottery, we went to our towns tree lighting ceremony and somehow managed to make the news!
Of couse, there is lots and lots of baking!
Our most favorite is the return of ourselves Nike holes and Ella. They visit us each year and create lots of havoc but keep us behaving by reporting back to Santa each night!

The kids both had special events at their schools. MacKenzie and Daddy enjoyed a fa LA LA lunch hour at her school and Caleb class put on a sing a long!
