I finally got to meet my sweet nephew, Samuel this past week. Thanks to my wonderful hubby, who took off a day of work, I was able to go for a long weekend. Even better, my little Sis, Emily was able to fly out with me! We had such a fun time traveling together and meeting the little guy!
We flew in late Thursday night and got up early Friday morning to get Michael up, fed, and off to Middle school. Then we returned and woke the triplets up at 7:15 and got them dressed, fed, and off to the bus. They were so excited to see us and it was fun to see them do their morning routine. Getting 4 kids up and off to school before 8 a.m. is much harder than just getting 1 to preschool 3 days a week by 9:00. I don't know how Melissa does it!
We of course, got lots of cuddles in and tried to help out as much as possible by entertaining the kids. We enjoyed playing outside, visiting the library, taking the kids to lunch at McDonald's and to the play area, and playing lots of board games!
I so wish we were closer so that we could spend more time with each other. I truly treasure my time with them and think they are the greatest kids! Of course, their parents aren't half bad either! :)- Melissa already has Samuel sleeping through the night ( I guess by baby #5 you have it all figured out) and is a wonderful Mom. David has been such a help by taking over laundry, cooking, transporting the kids to the bus, grocery shopping, etc. They are truly blessed!
Here are some pics from our stay! Miss you already Limburg family!
