Halloween fun

Who doesn't love Halloween? Playing dress up, people passing out free candy,  and always having lots of leftovers to enjoy  once the kids are asleep. Did I really  say that?

Aside from the kids fall parties at some school, we host my family for chili and trick or treating  fun. This year we lucked out with great weather and Caleb finally made it beyond our street. The kids loved trick or treating with neighbors and  classmates.

Fall Fun

I love this time of year!  The weather is a bit cooler and the fall colors are just breathtaking!  There are lots of fun traditions I look forward to this time of year!  We always enjoy apple picking, pumpkin carving, fall decorations, Buckeye football, and the Loudonville fair!

Here are some snapshots of our favorite fall memories so far!

Puppy Update

It seems like yesterday that Charlie joined our family!  It's hard to believe that he has been living with us for a little over 3 months.  He has been a great puppy!  We bell trained him in less than 2 weeks, and he rarely has accidents in the house.  He adjusted to sleeping in his crate easily too and other than puppy nips, he is a piece of cake!  We sure love this sweet face!

This week, Charlie enjoyed a play date with his sister, Oreo (my good friend and co-worker Julie bought from the same litter).  They had not seen each other since we brought them home and it was long overdue.  We wondered if they would remember each other, and I'm pretty sure they did, b/c they played amazingly well together!  There was lots of playing and puppy kisses and we can't wait for the next reunion!
