Covid hit in 2021 and everything went into lockdown. Jeremy started working from home and the kids had a wacky mix of online, hybrid and all-in. Never in my life did I think we would be wearing masks, practicing social distancing and become obsessed with hand-washing and germs.
Spring hit and things started to improve. After a year filled with quarantines, online schooling, and missed sports, we decided to get away. We surprised the kids and spent a week in Florida. (This was a make-up trip after our one last year got cancelled). We got our own condo, swam with dolphins (Mackenzie's dream), checked out Sea World, Discovery Cove, and logged some serious hours at the beach and pool.
